This Privacy Policy describes the information Funfuni (“Funfuni”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects when you visit funfuni.com (the “Site”), how that information is used and shared, and the choices available to you. It covers only the Site. Other websites, including the sites that host games embedded on Funfuni, have their own policies.

1. What we collect

Information you choose to give us

  • Comments. When you comment on a page, we store your comment, the name and email address you type in, and the date and time. Your email address is not shown publicly.
  • Game ratings. When you rate a game, we store the rating.
  • Contact messages. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message.

Funfuni does not offer user accounts, and you never need to give us personal information to play a game.

Information collected automatically

  • Server and device data. Our servers and our content delivery provider, Cloudflare, log your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the page that referred you and the time of each request. We use these logs to run the Site, keep it secure and troubleshoot problems.
  • Usage counts. We count page views, and the IP address used to rate a game may be recorded so the same person cannot vote many times.
  • Cookies. The Site uses a small number of cookies, for example to remember the name you entered in a comment. Our analytics and advertising partners also set cookies, as explained in section 3.

  • To operate the Site and its comments and ratings
  • To answer messages, support requests and copyright notices
  • To learn how visitors use the Site so we can make it better
  • To show the ads that keep Funfuni free
  • To block spam, abuse, fraud and security threats
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions

We do not sell personal information. Apart from the advertising services named below, we do not share personal information with anyone for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Services we use

  • Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the Site. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Google AdSense displays ads on the Site. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can adjust ad personalization in Google Ad Settings and opt out of some third-party vendors at aboutads.info.
  • Akismet, a service of Automattic, screens comments for spam. It receives the comment text, name, email address and IP address to do this.
  • Cloudflare delivers and protects the Site, and our hosting provider stores it. Both process connection data such as IP addresses to do this.
  • Embedded games. Most games on Funfuni are loaded inside a frame from the servers of the game’s developer or distributor. When a game loads, that provider receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies, show its own ads or offer in-game chat. Those activities are covered by the provider’s own privacy policy, not this one.

4. Children’s privacy

Funfuni is designed for a general audience. Games can be played without giving us any personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, as required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Children under 13 should not post comments or send us personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has shared personal information with us, email [email protected]. We will delete it, and you may ask to review it first. 5. Your choices

  • Comments. To have a comment you posted removed, email us with the page link and the email address you used when commenting.
  • Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if you do.
  • Do Not Track. There is no common standard for browser Do Not Track signals, so the Site does not respond to them.
  • Email. We only email you to reply to a message you sent us. We do not send newsletters or marketing email.

6. Privacy rights in your state

Depending on your state of residence, including California, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to learn how it is used and shared, and to opt out of its sale or its use for targeted advertising. Funfuni does not sell personal information. To make a request, email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” as the subject. We may ask for information to confirm your identity, and we will respond within the time required by law. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

7. How long we keep information

Comments stay on the Site until you or we remove them. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request. Server logs are stored for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.

8. Security

All pages on the Site are served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No system is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission.

9. Updates to this policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated, and we will post a notice on the Site if we make an important change.
